Lady T’s Homeless Ministry recently celebrated 31 years of dedicated service to Atlanta’s homeless community with a beautiful masquerade ball honoring her decades of compassion, faith, and community impact. The celebration brought together supporters, community partners, and friends to share heartfelt stories, recognize Lady T’s lasting influence, and honor her commitment to providing meals and support to those in need. From a moving testimony about her unwavering dedication during the COVID-19 pandemic to a special proclamation from DeKalb County recognizing her decades of service, the afternoon was a powerful celebration of her remarkable legacy. The Ashro Community Council was honored to be part of this special occasion and celebrate a woman whose mission continues to make a lasting difference in the lives of others.

Community care starts with strong partnerships and even stronger missions. Ashro is honored to partner with nonprofits across the nation, including Atlanta Mission, Attack Poverty, Mt. Zion Church, and Lady T. Homeless Ministry, that are feeding, clothing, and supporting individuals and families in need. At Ashro, we believe looking good and doing good go hand in hand. Our goal is to amplify the impact of organizations already leading with compassion and service, helping extend access to food, clothing, resources, and hope. Together, we are restoring dignity, strengthening communities, and creating opportunities for individuals and families to thrive.

Ashro returned to the Madison Reading Project's Get Read(y) to Wear fundraiser for a second year, transforming paper into fashion for a meaningful cause. Inspired by this year's "Out of This World" theme, our team created an Afrofuturist-inspired design titled *Hidden Figures*, honoring Black pioneers in space and science whose contributions helped shape history. Celebrating curiosity, innovation, and the limitless possibilities created by generations of Black excellence, the design earned 3rd Place on the runway while helping support children's literacy and access to educational resources.

ASHRO is proud of our partnership with Women in Focus, an organization that has spent 40 years uplifting women, building community, and empowering scholars. To further support this mission, we deepened our commitment with a $2,500 scholarship donation, helping open doors for young women pursuing higher education and community impact. It's more than a gift—it's an investment in leadership, resilience, and future changemakers, including our 2026 ASHRO Scholar, Jazzlynn Walker.

This empowering event, hosted by Kimberly Fisher and co-hosted by Pastor Wendy Singleton, brought together over 100 women for a day of holistic wellness, connection, and inspiration.
