In 2004, Simone discovered a knot on her shin. Soon after she was sadly diagnosed with stage 3 chondrosarcoma, a rare bone cancer. She underwent a 15-hour surgery, followed by a two-and-a-half-year recovery period during which she had to relearn how to walk. Her treatment involved invasive surgery that altered her lollipop tattoo, making it look like someone had taken a bite out of it. Inspired by her journey, the lollipop now symbolizes Simone’s path to recovery and her commitment to helping other cancer survivors.

Simone I. Smith’s journey exemplifies resilience and creativity. Inspired by her own experiences, she created the lollipop pendant in 2009. Today, Simone offers three unique lollipop designs to suit various styles. The “Signature Lollipop” pendant showcases a vibrant assortment of colorful crystallized lollipops with gold and silver accents. The “Crystal Bite” pendant is embellished with dazzling gemstones set within a colorful iridescent pop on a gold/silver stick.
